Eight From Alabama Attend EYE Conference
Eight young people and adult sponsors from the Diocese of Alabama participated in the 2008 Episcopal Youth Event (E.Y.E.) in San Antonio, Texas last week. The largest youth event in The Episcopal Church took place July 8-13, 2008 at Trinity University in San Antonio and was attended by some 1200 high school students, adult sponsors, bishops, design team members, and resource people from all over the world. Haiti Medical Team Completes Mission
The joint Alabama/Haiti medical team conducted the final mobile clinic of its week-long mission yesterday at Transfiguration Church in the Village of Gorman. The team is scheduled to return home to the United States on Saturday.
